About Us

Assistive Audio is the medical devices division of Mixx Ltd, head quartered in the United Kingdom for over 18 years. 

We started the division some two years ago with some simple questions. We know a lot about building consumer audio products, in fact we have sold over 9 million earphones and headphone in 11 different countries. So we thought, how can we use our knowledge in audio to help people? Can we make hearing aids that work and look more relevant for today’s needs and life style? Can we solve some of the problems that hearing aid users tolerate because there few choices or no solutions currently available? Finally, can we give customers the best technology and materials at an affordable price?     

In addition to answering our question we want to make it simple and easy for people to access hearing protection and hearing assistance devices both fiscally and physically. 

All Assistive Audio products are designed and developed in the UK. All products must pass relevant international standards as well as useability and clinical testing.  

On a personal note, for many years the founders of the company wanted to find some way of helping people.

Finally, the knowledge gained in audio over almost 2 decades can be used to help people hear better, or reduce the risk of hearing loss at a later stage in life.
